Recipe: Scones and Marmalade

Granny had a lot of recipes that we considered HERS but scones and marmalade definitely got voted as the most popular. We thought we would share this with you- the recipe is as it was written in her recipe book . There was confusion about how much ‘one part butter’ is and on asking my Aunt who makes the scones still (apart from her yummy bread pudding *drool*) ,she said it means just a table spoon or so. Any more clarifications required- ask us and we will ask further. If you do make either of the two- take pictures and show us!

We made these for everyone who came to celebrate her life and 98th birthday to take home and remember her by.
